A better than average Greene King establishment serving the local population. Cheap and cheerful, neat and tidy best describes it. An impressive array of real ale hand pumps but only ever IPA and Abbott on offer. Great service though.

I’ve known Naomi from her previous pub, the Two Poplars and if she makes her mark on the GM as she did there it’ll be a great success. Clean and tidy, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I had a cheese & bacon burger for lunch and it was delicious.
