Wow, visit here and find out to why the landlord and landlady have been in business for over 30 years ! Popped in for a lunchtime meal. It was amazing, the best stop of the week here. Great menu choices Inc several specials. Huge portions. As cheap or cheaper and tastier than all our other meals out. Freshly cooked, tasty and beautifully presented. The sauce in the smoked gammon, chicken and leek pie was wonderful. Perfectly cooked mixed grill (must return one day for the 48oz version !). Both dishes served with generous portions of new potatoes and veg. Ploughman’s was more than enough for my MILs appetite and far better than that at a local garden centre we visited. The fresh cod and hand cut chips were equally nice. New toilets that were spotlessly clean. Friendly chatty staff and local folks. Perfect end to our holiday. We will return and use the campsite when next this way. Thank you.

Cant recommend this pub highly enough! The pub is a freehouse and theres a nice relaxed atmosphere inside. Food is great quality and the prices are competitive, there is a large free car park without all the ANPR garbage you get in a lot of places these days too. If your looking to go out for a quiet meal or a family get together this place ticks all the boxes. ✅
