He doesn’t own the pub (thank God), just sits around acting like a dictator with zero customer service and even less respect for the staff. Great find on our way home. Much a locals pub and warmly welcomed. Helpful staff, great ale and able to order food. Proper pies (not a meat dish with a pasty top) and plenty for a takeout box. Definately one to visit again.
