As village locals, my partner and I are not strangers to visiting The Plough Inn for a Friday night drink or a Sunday roast, so when we got engaged, we were pleased to find out that they also do events. We booked The Plough Inn for our wedding reception last month and were so impressed and happy with how everything turned out. Imogen was incredible at planning all the details and we were more than happy to let her take the reins. Throughout our planning meetings, she was so accommodating and knowledgeable while still making sure our preferences were the priority and that the process went as smoothly as possible. The waitstaff were so friendly and professional and our guests loved the delicious buffet dinner options and incredible wedding cake made by Imogen and the talented kitchen staff. The cake was light and flavourful and decorated beautifully with flowers that matched our bouquets. The decorations matched the day's vibes perfectly, from the handwritten chalk signs, to the board of the brides' baby photos, and the delicate wildflowers that Imogen picked herself on the wedding morning. There was plenty of space for guests to mill about in the private events area as well as climbing frames for the kids to enjoy. My wife and I will be booking The Plough Inn again for any future events and highly recommend it for others too!

the first word that comes to mind to describe our meal today at the Plough Inn was … WOW! Staff were attentive, polite, and very friendly, and the whole atmosphere was lovely! we ordered a mixture of meals from the normal menu, and the daily specials - all of which were truly delicious! my dad particularly enjoyed the venison sausages, and the pulled pork burger I had was to die for! portion sizes were excellent and great value for money, and lots of choices. honestly, couldn’t praise the staff and food highly enough - will certainly be returning, and the kind of place we will tell all our friends about! out of this world!!
